Meet the team behind the Integrated Climate Change Action Learning Platform (ICCALP)

The Alpha Team Organization or ATO is a Philippine-registered global youth non-profit organization that aims to be a platform for social and creative activism. ATO strives to create lasting youth networks and communities to forward societal change in the country.

The Team Behind ICCALP

The team behind ICCALP are members of ClimatEducate, a project of ATO. They are professionals and students who are committed to promote climate education among youth communities. Outside ClimatEducate, they are researchers, project coordinators, and experts in their respective fields concerning environment and national / international development. Through ICCALP, they endeavor to create motivated communities led by formal and non-formal climate educators perpetually promoting climate science and ultimately transforming concepts into concrete actions.

Mission

Equip learners with knowledge from different communities and empower their climate action by providing general scientific literacy on climate change, as well as climate education.

Vision

A community where members are conscious and aware about climate science and how they could practice climate action to their own communities.

Goal

Improve scientific literacy of learners on climate change, enhance their awareness on how climate change will affect their respective communities in the current time and the next few decades, and encourage them to be advocates and communicators of climate action.
